This issue contains contributions from creative thinkers, writers and designers — originating and responding to the theme of Atomic in the context of sustainability. The work engages with contemporary culture, modern thought, sound, typography and language.

The Atomic issue provides an open and experimental platform for creatives to explore concepts and ideas, systems and processes in relation to science, technology, society, human nature and visual communication.

The Im-Pressed series is a graphic exploration into design and visual culture underpinned by an interest in the relationship between the analogue and digital world. Each issue aims to manifest as a curious amalgam of responses and reactions to a specific theme.

We aim to facilitate and produce work that innovatively explores and utilises digital and analogue processes in order to further develop our understanding of each area and the potential of hybrid making and thinking.
