LCC designer creates logo for international communications conference

Every two years, corporate leaders from across Europe, the Middle East & North Africa come together for the International Association of Business Communicators’ EuroComm conference.

2015’s event takes place from 12th to 14th April and will be hosted at London College of Communication. Delegates and speakers from leading global companies will be coming to London to learn, share and network.

Each year the IABC asks design students from their host city to design the conference logo. They commissioned six BA (Hons) Graphic and Media Design and two BA (Hons) Illustration and Visual Media students to create a logo that reflected the themes of communication, London, social media and people power.

The designers came back with concepts featuring iconic London landmarks such as the River Thames, Big Ben and the London Eye. Several of the logos showed the connected nature of modern communications. The IABC then voted on the design they’d like to use.

The winning design was created by Jennicka Sapigao and features a series of icons that illustrate the IABC’s chosen themes, integrated within the title of the conference.

The IABC were so impressed with Jennicka’s work that they’ve commissioned her to produce the conference programme and other materials, which will be seen throughout the conference.
