So what can we expect from the GMD class of 2017?
Course Leader Craig Burston explains the vision:

“This year has seen another incredibly diverse range of output. We wanted to reflect that in the exhibition system, so we’ve got ‘look don’t touch, look and touch, look in awe and look and explore.” Neat!

Today, the vast majority of [communication/graphic] design work sits behind glass; smartphones, televisions, monitors, windows… we as readers experience it in ways not always anticipated by the message originator. BUT, this is not to say that well made output, both materially as well as critically or conceptually is to be forgotten, quite the opposite. But the way it is displayed, the ways in which we communicate our excellence, has changed. The ways in which we receive visual/graphic information has changed. And this year’s collective work is of a high standard that allows us to respond to this.

We are genuinely proud of what students produce and care a great deal about pushing forward and finding considered and brave new ways to present the work and their talent.

This show is different.
