“As one gets older, the fear that time is running out and important opportunities are slipping away.” Exhibiting how my personal experiences have influenced my perception of time and how it can all slip away.

Fleeting time reminds me of last summer when I was facing some health issues and I was in and out of the hospital. Time in that sense went very quickly as I felt like I was missing opportunities to live. Time is a century-long waiting game. To have no choice in the matter of what you do with your time when it comes to your health is almost unbearable.

The German word ‘Torschlusspanik’ is precisely what I felt at the time, therefore I want to showcase that feeling through this project.

The innovation of fabric within sports increases durability, insulation and is lightweight when you are on the go.

Through analysing sports branding within motion graphics, I came to terms with the fact that is has always been about innovation. By using new technology to innovate and produce a new product, those same companies take that same approach when it comes to advertising. Designers dissect the brands’ core values and intentions of the projects and create a unique visual language.

Chrome is a retrospective deep dive into Chrome and how it has been used before and throughout the turn of the millennium in pop culture. This deep dive will also approach Gen Z’s perception of Chrome and how famous pop culture references and media have impacted how the future is perceived. By drawing on the physical attributes of Chrome, I deconstructed my chosen topic and reconstructed it to influence the outcome of my book.
