I am a graphic designer with a passion for questions, answers, and problem-solving.
Communicating through visuals is exciting but challenging, I find the rapid changes in technology inspiring and motivating. Using and reflecting on them is intriguing, and I feel fortunate to live in an age where I can blend traditional with contemporary techniques, constantly challenging myself to explore new possibilities in design.

LCC – Self Portraits
Thinking of a time when our campus will be non-existent, this publication preserves the London College of Communication (LCC) campus through a series of prints. Allowing the campus to generate its own image, these self portraits are developed through a process where various machines found within LCC contribute and distort the imagery.
While most of the images were taken by myself, from inside and outside the campus, the rest of the photographs were captured by construction engineers, situated on the site of LCC’s future location.
The process is an amalgamation of digital and traditional printing techniques, from a digital automated image treatment, utilisation of the photopolymer platemaker, a printing press, a thermography machine, and screen printing. Each intricate process imbues the photographs with distinct characteristics, rendering every image in the publication truly unique.

Post Print – The Death of Digital
Post Print is a fictional print fair and exhibition including a series of talks & discussions on the value of print from eminent printmakers, typographers & artists.
The identity is based on the idea of human mistakes made during printing processes, focusing on the symbiosis of print and digital that is emphasised with the digital treatment of the prints.
The logotype with the tagline ‘The Death of Digital’ was screen printed, scanned and scaled up to serve as graphic elements for the identity. The colours include CMYK and RGB values to highlight the contrast between the two worlds.

Calendar
As for my self initiated project during my final year I decided to experiment with letterpress printing.
I spent months at the workshop printing several projects. One of them is a print of a poem by Sir Thomas Wyatt and another is a calendar for which I used a different experimental technique printing each month.
While spending the majority of my final year at the letterpress workshop I learnt typesetting, kerning, leading and setting up grids and layouts manually, allowing me to appreciate design processes more and to have a better eye for details.
A big thank you to the technicians Ruth, Andrew and Will for the endless help!!
