Hey there! I’m a graphic media design student who’s had various opportunities to explore Seoul, The Hague, and London. I’ve dabbled in everything from fine art to design, and I love bridging the gap between digital and analogue. My true passion lies in being a multi-disciplinary designer, using visual media to tell stories and create experiences that engage people’s senses through 3D art and motion design. My artistic language is to make a meaningful impact within the design community by using these artistic forms to forge connections with others on a deeper, emotional level.

Contemporary Vanitas

The genre of still-life art known as Vanitas rose to fame in the 16th to 17th centuries, drawing its roots from the Latin phrase “Vanity of Vanities, saith the preacher, all is Vanity.” It’s all about capturing the essence of life’s fleeting nature and the deeper meaninglessness of our existence. In my latest project, I’ve pondered what objects could represent a modern twist on Vanitas, exploring the desires and struggles of people like you and me living in the present era. Brace yourself for a short animation that reminds us to cherish every moment, appreciate the true value of life, and even reflects on the ever-present plastic items that outlast us.

Sea Sense

Introducing Sea Sense, the stress app that’s here to help you master stress management! This app combines your emotions, external/internal stress factors, and biometric information to create a visual personalised stress scale just for you. When users enter stressful situations into the chatbot-like app, a smart AI model powered by natural language processing kicks in. It integrates the input with the NRC-emotional lexicon to determine the user’s emotions in real-time. This emotional score is then merged with data about the circumstances and external/internal factors influencing the stress, and even the user’s physiological information like heart rate and blood pressure. But Sea Sense doesn’t stop at numbers. It offers visually captivating coral shapes that create a serene and meditative experience. This app helps you identify and manage your stressors while providing moments of joy through interactive visual data. Additionally, Sea Sense allows you to track your stress levels over time, gaining insights into your patterns. It even offers personalised stress-relief techniques and the option to connect with professional support. Welcome to a stress-free zone with Sea Sense!
