Recently, my work has focused on generative design that tells stories about nature, emotion, and society. By coding or crafting moving-image pieces, I fuse data, time, and form into living visuals that seem to breathe and respond. My practice asks how design can connect people to one another—and to the shared environments that sustain us.

Twelve Floral Clocks

‘Twelve Floral Clocks’ is a generative work that transforms the physiological rhythms of plants into dynamic graphics for display. This work is developed using p5.js and maps the actual blooming and fading cycles of twelve types of plants onto a 24-hour clock face. The flowers open or close at different times according to their own rhythms, showcasing a biological rhythm that rarely synchronises with the human clock, inviting viewers to perceive time and their own pace like plants do.

Hovering the mouse will show the basic information of the corresponding flower (including its name and blooming-closing time).
