I am a detail-oriented creative based in London. My practice encompasses a variety of disciplines ranging from editorial and typography design to sculpture and generative design. I take a hands-on approach to my work, with a focus on analogue techniques and discovering the beauty found in experimental processes. I thoroughly enjoy drawing inspiration from my personal interests and experiences, and I’m always eager to explore new mediums to express my creativity. Going forward, I aim to continue my journey investigating the interaction of graphic design technologies and traditional crafts.

CODED CROCHET
CODED CROCHET is an exploration of the interaction between man, machine and material.
Each outcome in this project has been determined by a random crochet pattern generator I coded in Python. Utilising the delicate, traditional craft of crochet as a medium, I explore its ever-expanding possibilities, discovering how randomness affects the overall structure of patterns resulting in weird and wonderful sculptural forms and shapes. This project celebrates the many variables within crochet and utilises each one as an integral part of the code, including; hook size, material, stitches, chain length and number of rows, all of which I determined through a rigorous testing process. This project is delivered in three parts, showcasing the outcomes of crochet rows and rounds patterns as well as the interaction of all final outputs combined, resulting in intricate and detailed sculptures.

FULL OUT ZINE
FULL OUT ZINE is a love letter to the sport of competitive cheerleading.
After having researched extensively into the world of cheerleading for my dissertation, and from my own personal experience as a competitive cheerleader for over 8 years, I understood the damaging stereotypes which cheerleaders face are deeply rooted in the presentation of the sport and its participants in popular media. FULL OUT ZINE is unlike any other cheerleading editorial currently on the market; it’s a refreshing and realistic perspective on a high intensity and exciting sport, which endeavours to highlight the beauty of cheer through visual storytelling and interviews. Inspired by fanzine culture, this project reflects a rawer depiction of the UK cheer community through its image and type treatment, and I hope will be a catalyst for altering the biases which have been ingrained within society.
