I am a Romanian-born, UK-based designer. My work explores the intersection of culture, human connectivity, and emotion. With a passion in editorial design and typography, I enjoy exploring unconventional ways of challenging the functionality and physicality of contemporary design.
While I often enjoy exploring new ways of working, both analogue and digital, in my spare time I gravitate towards learning new skills and exploring the traditional arts and crafts—a current infatuation of mine being poetry and cross-stitching.

Colours of Orthodox Christianity
This project is a deep dive into the Eastern Orthodox Church, exploring the structure, traditions, architecture, and literature that arose as a result of this religion. It is a celebration of religion, but also a celebration of personal journeys, and the sense of belonging that these communities encourage. Printed digitally at London College of Communication, the publication features an exposed spine, coptic binding, with a design curated specifically for the concept and content of the publication.

Analine
Analine is a display typeface that aims to bring a balance between the irregularities of human mark-making and digital precision. Inspired by analogue typography, it is a modern interpretation and recreation of physical ways of working; the process of designing this typeface heavily influencing its final look and purpose, each physical stroke translating into a new feature. Embracing its bold, angular look, Analine is a typeface designed for unapologetic and vibrant projects.

Arbur
Arbur is a typeface inspired by the natural world, with its forms reflecting the organic growth and interconnected beauty of nature. This typeface nods to the elegant forms of trees, the branches, roots, and fruits all playing a vital part in its development. Its letterforms feature organic curves reflecting the interconnectedness between humanity and nature. The flowing lines and rounded contours evoke growth and harmony, while subtle loops capture the ornate beauty of early 20th-century design movement Art Nouveau.
