Shrimp festival

This project focussed on the visual representation of a time-based event. I created a brand identity for the annual shrimp festival in Oostduinkerke, Belgium. It celebrates the horseback shrimp fishers.

Horseback shrimp fishing is an old craft celebrated each year at the shrimp festival in Oostduinkerke, Belgium. It is a craft that exists since the 14th century. This technique of fishing is very unique and celebrates the connection between man and nature in a digitalized world.

I created visuals for physical promotion. These visuals include poster, leaflet, certificate, safety wristbands for kids and stickers.

Le voyage en train

This project is about my interrail trip to France in 2019. I documented my journey for three weeks and created an editorial piece in reaction to the information design publication brief.

For this project, I organised, analysed, and visualised a selection of photos and arranged them by using the LATCH system.
I communicated my story through data collected over three weeks based on the category of space and mapping.

This project allowed me to expand my editorial and bookbinding skills.

Meta type

This project explores the different types of type within the city of London.
The aim was to create a folded leaflet, front and back, to visualise the chosen type.
Looking, exploring and experimenting with typography and letters was crucial for this project. After wandering around the area of East London, I decided to work with distorted type. It allowed me to experiment with letters digitally and physically.
I expanded my skills. I used the program After Effects for the first time and got to learn more about the techniques of screenprinting.
