It’s a book about my dad’s entrepreneurial experiences, exploring how he slowly ran his business, from a small repair shop to a large company. This book explores in depth the entrepreneurial experience of how my father started out as a small repair shop and gradually grew into a massive company. I wanted to use this book as a way for me to give back to my father for quietly supporting me for 3 years.

The book is divided into four parts. The first part is the characters, which briefly introduces my relationship with my father, his important moments, his partners and other people’s comments about him. In the second book, there is an introduction to the company and an industry introduction. The third book is a detailed description, which introduces the development of each year in detail. The last book is about the display of products.

‘Make A Toast’ is a frame-by-frame animation that tells the story of how I don’t understand and resent the culture of toasting at the drinking table. It depicts the awkwardness and nervousness I felt when I was forced to get up and make a toast to everyone.
