The Barrier
The project started with the observation of algal blooms in the ecology of the water body. Most people are aware of their negative impacts on the environment and the human body, but I tried to look at the positive aspects of their strong reproduction ability and photosensitivity, thus exploring the inevitable connection between the environment in which people live and human behaviour.

Stop & Watch
The project is based on my observation of a phenomenon that I would not normally notice – whether or not residents draw their curtains. This was a point that caught my interest as I walked through the neighbourhood where I live. Because in my country, people seem to put a lot of emphasis on the choice to draw curtains and other related factors. The purpose of this project is not only to show curiosity about people’s activities through drawn curtains, but also to stimulate people’s thoughts behind this commonplace phenomenon through visual representation.
