Hello, this is Jihyun. I am a multidisciplinary artist and designer based in London focusing on creating attractive visual narratives through 3D.
Admiring how 3D design can convincingly and fluidly capture and embody visual attractiveness, my focus has shifted sharply from graphic design to 3D design since last year.
While my current practice lies in 3D design, I am highly interested in expanding and merging my areas with other creative fields, particularly in graphic design, new media, and technologies. I am passionate about continuous learning and adapting to new approaches.

Eternal Recurrence
The concept of Eternal Recurrence, proposed by Nietzsche suggests that all events in the universe repeat infinitely and Nietzsche saw this concept as a test to inspire individuals to live life fully and embrace their fate. Nietzche has been my all-time favorite philosopher, I wanted to explore his philosophy through this project.
This project mainly sought to visually embody the philosophical intangible subject in a more convincing and intuitive way. To achieve this, objects with symbolic representations were mainly used.
By inserting the circulating text as questions, I wanted the audience to be more immersed in the concept of Eternal Recurrence directly and bring positive effects of revisiting their lives even at a minimal level from watching this.
About Red
Red is a very strong and eye-catching colour. This project aimed to acknowledge and understand the diverse meaning of red and to create a visual narrative accordingly. The project presents six qualities of red and each quality was selected to embody the diverse range that red can represent.
The main purpose of this project was to visually solve six different scenes in a variety of ways within the colour limit of red – that is through motion, texture, quality of the object etc.
It also aimed to use and get familiar with working across various software aside from Cinema 4D; which includes ZBrush, Marvelous Designer, Substance 3D Painter etc.
