Don’t Fall Over

A projection design projected that concretises depression connected with figure skating.

Installed using fabric, projections and moving image, the outcome demonstrates how depression can be visualised inside an athlete’s mind. Following a figure skater (Lovisa Carlqvist) during a practice session, the audience witnesses an exhausted and disheartened individual who appears to have given up on the sport. The project raises the question: Is the figure skater truly as sloppy as she appears, or are we witnessing her own perception of herself?

In Every Corner

A projection design project visualising piano music and its interaction with physical space.

Animated and projected lines show how sound can interact and coexist with a physical environment. Each piano key is linked to a specific colour, allowing the music to visually paint and decorate the space.
