Hi, I’m Pearl!

I am a multi-media designer with a particular focus on motion design and projection mapping. I am a very hands-on designer who loves experimentation and creating new and innovative experiences for people.

Below are two projects where I explore motion and projection mapping and see where they connect and the interesting things you can create from them.

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang

This project is a response to my two passions – going to the theatre and projection mapping – and creating immersive experiences. In response, I created a small theatre performance of 2 songs from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang the musical, using projection mapping visuals to create the set and the world of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. To further create the experience for the audience the actual location for this project won’t be in a traditional theatre but instead in a parking lot to make the whole experience more interesting and enjoyable for the audience and help the world of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang really come to life.

Projection Stairway

This project was about exploring projection mapping in smaller unusual spaces, such as a flight of stairs in my house and how you can make it immersive so that people are able to interact with it.
