2036 – Seconds

“Seconds” is an exploration project about the future and our experience with food. The project outlines a future set in 2036 where we consume our meals in the form of customisable pills that cater to all of our nutritional needs. This change is set as a solution to the food industry problems, but it raises the question of how these solutions for the future can impact our experience with food. Summing up our whole relation with food in just 1 pill ignores all the social aspects that we associate with it. By taking the experience and the rituals around food we are changing a very important relevant aspect of our lives.

Mutability

Mutability is a self-initiated project in collaboration with Matilde Fernandes, a jewellery designer, who is currently developing her personal brand, which includes a bespoke jewellery experience. The concept of this bespoke experience was created around self-awareness, reflection and development, to then make possible the materialisation of an important aspect of identity in a jewel. My role in this collaboration is to create her visual identity and the book that accompanies the jewels, showcasing the process of the bespoke experience.

*Tuga

*Tuga is a pop-up exhibition focused on sharing with other communities the peculiar yet comedic world of Portuguese sayings, by translating them into the English language. The exhibition demonstrates how each language has its own unique set of expressions and how when they are translated to another language they lose their meaning.
This project showcases the visual identity of the pop-up exhibition, which uses type, visuals and colour to communicate the sayings.

In collaboration with Margarida Pereira.
