Interpolate: Black and White: Grey and Space
Without colour, what value has remained in the black and white photo? Further understanding and refining the meaning of black and white in photography from the perspective of grey space – through the dismantling, restructuring, materialisation and shaping of black and white photographs, the grey tone (Zoom System) becomes a key feature in linking black and white in photos.
The Annotated Alice's Adventures In Wonderland (Chapter One)
This project aims to study Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by redesigning the layout of the book's content, visually exploring the mathematics and philosophical logic (expert's annotations) behind the 'nonsense' poetry and super nature oddities.
Throughout the adult's version, to re-read Alice in Wonderland, the project will take the annotation as the central part of the book, bringing the solid contradiction to the audience about the two distinct worlds. One is how the original author, Carroll, depicted a fantastically 'meaningless' Wonderland for children, aiming to evoke the imagination and curiosity of the world. The other is what I want to draw the reader's attention to – the world based on scientific and ideological principles.
