Frames of Love

Frames of Love is an editorial book that explores how love is remembered, expressed, and constructed in cinema. Using film as a cultural archive, the project investigates how emotional narratives are visually communicated across decades of filmmaking.

Through a curated selection of 50 different movies, the book maps recurring cinematic motifs such as first encounters, love triangles, car scenes, objects of love, letters, and final endings. These themes are used to examine the visual language of love and how it is shaped by genre, tone, and historical context.

Aimed at readers interested in visual culture, film, and editorial storytelling. A grid-based layout and considered sequencing guide the viewer through a rhythm inspired by cinematic pacing. It is bound with exposed-thread coptic binding, complemented by a debossed cover.

Original Machines

For the fictional Design Museum’s Original Machines exhibition, I developed a visual identity exploring the intense and complex relationship of ‘The Body as a Machine’.

Through art direction, photography, dynamic layouts, and developing a cohesive design system, the concept focuses on twins connected by wires, symbolizing duplication, connection, and control. Inspired by performance artists like Marina Abramović, the visuals capture the body in states of resistance and ritual. The wires are not just decorative; they bind and transmit, emphasising tension and transformation. This project highlights how the body reveals the machine within, rather than being replaced by it. The identity was adapted across various assets, forming a versatile media package to suit different formats and platforms.

Identity Reloaded

Identity Reloaded is a fictional campaign I created for a new Dazed issue, exploring fashion, transformation, and digital identity. The project focuses on the ‘in-between’, a space where physical and virtual realities intersect and identity is fluid. Drawing on Gestalt principles, I combined bold typography, dynamic layouts, and photography to craft a visually driven narrative across print and digital formats.
