Hello, my name is Shannon.
I’m an artist who has a passion for both traditional and digital forms in creating art pieces.
I take a lot of inspiration from nature and animals with my past experience in the Animal Care field of study as well as from my interests in Japanese Anime and Manga.

Generate
For my Generate project I created a series of wheels, using the website Wheel Of Names, which I would spin in order to choose the shape of my woodblock canvas that I would cut from recycled wood, the limited colour palette and finally the acrylic pour technique that I would be using. I repeated this process in order to generate 10 different outcomes.
Opal Moon Manga – Character Profiles
In most Manga there are character profiles in the back of the book and I decided to create my own for the characters of my Manga story, Opal Moon. I began by drawing two illustrations for each character to use for the pages. I then created a template in which to place them and add the information about my characters.
