Biography

Sharon is a multidisciplinary, hybrid creative and art director with experience solving and leading design solutions for clients – from local start-ups to global brands and cultural institutions.

Sharon’s practice encompasses a wide range of disciplines including branding and strategy, digital and new media, integrated campaigns, film, and the development of consumer products. She aims to build meaningful brands and explore creative solutions through storytelling at the intersection of culture, strategy and human behaviour.

Foodmart

Foodmart is a speculative concept that aims to challenge your perspective of the value of everyday food items amid the current cost of living crisis, global food security and local supply chain issues. It invites you to consider hypothetical and potential future scenarios.

Food futurologists highlight the possibility of a future where food becomes prohibitively expensive, some foods may become rare and even cease to exist. We also speculate on the potential implications of food becoming digital, from alternative modes of consumption and new levels of food scarcity.

The catalyst for this project was brought on by the scarcity of eggs, fresh produce and a rediscovered personal receipt from Sainsbury’s supermarket dated back several years ago which revealed that a crate of six eggs increased with inflation by a rate of 259%.
