Hi, I'm XiaoYu Liu, you can call me Sam, I'm working in Beijing now as a brand planner. I think it is the duty of an artist to produce something that can have an impact on society. Maintaining an eternal love and reverence for the arts, pursuing creative thinking, and possessing a sense of social responsibility.

LOSS

I am fascinated by Chinese calligraphy and I am also interested in modern poetry, I made this piece - a visualization of a poem. The overall feeling of the song is sad and the feeling of time fading away, so I also made the whole poem feel like it was fading away.

Hidde worker

The project happens in Beijing, I started photographing people, not celebrities but people in the most ordinary positions, they are very common but also great in my heart, I wanted to reflect on some issues through this film and I think it is my duty as an artist.

These are some of the people I photographed in different parts of Beijing. They are all in the most common positions in our daily lives, seemingly insignificant, yet very important to our lives. Seeing the smallest of things, every little person in life is great.

Each hidden worker is like a street light, illuminating every hidden corner, seemingly undetectable, but without them, our path would be dark. I would like to use this video to express the meaning of those hidden workers to us.
