Due to the proximity of East Asian countries, food cultures have influenced each other to a greater or lesser extent, but through historical development they have taken on many different forms, and bento is one of them. This book introduces bento as a Japanese food culture, detailing different aspects of bento through six chapters, the last of which is interactive.

This is a Fanbook, every fanbook is different for every fan, it’s a fan-made creation in response to a piece of work they really like. The first half of the book is my insights into this film and the second half is designed as a notebook where those who get the book can try to write down their thoughts on the film and journal about it using some of the stickers and other accessories I provided.

The book is based on an album called Breathe by Lily, the main character of the film, and the use of colours in the film and the content of the film. When people get the book they can tap on their phone via NFC to hear the songs from Lily’s album.
