Disappearing Wonders

On Earth, we are often struck by natural wonders, such as towering mountains, vast oceans and colourful biodiversity. However, some natural wonders are disappearing, and this publication describes five natural wonders that are currently disappearing over large areas: the Glacier National Park, the Everglades National Park, the Dead Sea, the Sundarbans National Park and the Great Barrier Reef. Here, I describe the topography, geography, and ecology of each of these sites in turn, as well as the reasons why they are disappearing and their current status. These natural wonders may cease to exist in the coming decades. Through this book, I hope to make people aware of the damage caused by human behaviour to these wonders, and to prompt them to reflect on their own behaviour and take steps to remedy these regrets.

Human-Animal Interactions in St James’s Park

This map shows a visualisation of the data I recorded on human-animal interactions in St James’s Park. As you can see by the legend in the top right corner, concentric circles of different colours represent different species of animals; circles of different colours represent different groups of humans, with differences in colour corresponding to different group classifications. The longer the interaction time, the larger the size of the circles.

At the bottom of the map, we can see a detailed description of where the interaction took place. Based on the numbers in the top left corner, you can find the corresponding location on the main map. The detailed map in the bottom right corner further explains the specific details of human and animal interactions at a particular location. In this way, you can get a clearer picture of the interactions at each site.

Rock Climbing

On weekends, I often go to the climbing gym with my friends. One time, while climbing in the climbing gym, l had an idea to design a set of fonts using the rocks on the climbing wall as elements. Besides that, l also designed the rock climbing typeface specimen design. Since the rocks on the climbing wall are standing out, I used embossing to present the final Rock Climbing specimen poster.
