Hello, I’m Wang Yuhuan, a designer from China. During my study of Graphic and Media Design at the London College of Communication, I tried many different possibilities of design. Apart from traditional graphic design, I am also good at using 3D modelling software, website programming and illustration design. During the design process, I am good at thinking about and visualising social issues from different perspectives and using different design tools to produce finished products.

Deep Dive—A Guide to Hot Pot
This book is an editorial and visual exploration of China’s diverse hot pot traditions, interpreted through the lens of contemporary book design. Responding to the Deep Dive brief, the project investigates regional food cultures across China using the hot pot—a deeply social and symbolic culinary form—as both the subject and structural metaphor. The book is structured into nine interconnected booklets, inspired by the iconic nine-grid Sichuan hot pot, with each booklet focusing on a specific region’s hot pot style, dining rituals, and table culture.
Self Directed Project—The emotional link between pets and people
PUPU is a card game based on the confusion about the attachment relationship between pets and humans, aiming to enhance the emotional connection between humans and pets through interaction and communication. Players can learn to interpret the emotions and needs of pets through card games that present different situations and interaction methods, enhancing mutual understanding and trust between both sides.
This card game is not merely an entertainment tool; it carries the function of helping humans better understand the emotional needs of pets. Through the game, players can view events from the perspective of pets, enhance their emotional resonance with pets, and understand that the attachment relationship with pets is not one-way. Meanwhile, the illustration style of the cards also focuses on conveying the emotions of warmth and companionship, aiming to make the relationship between players and their pets closer and more harmonious.
