Finger travel is a sensory transformation design work, the purpose is to appeal to people not only to use their eyes to observe and record the world, but maximise their sense of touch. Through the methods of research, interview and personal experiment, I initially developed a tactile map manual for Shanghai, China. After a series of challenges, I finally made the works into some animation design and exhibitions in four different places in Shanghai. At the same time, I also created visual effects of the official account online. The project also uses augmented reality to make the final poster more vivid. In this work, people will experience my whole tactile journey so that people can feel the scenery in different ways – to touch and have a deeper understanding of the city.
