Biography

As a graphic and interaction designer from China, I am passionate about exploring the intersection between physical space and digital experience. My recent projects focus on combining multiple software platforms to create new forms of interactive and speculative storytelling. Through experimenting with tools like Arduino, TouchDesigner, and real-time projection systems, I seek to develop immersive, emotionally resonant ways to present design. This cross-platform collaboration has become not just a method, but a meaningful part of my creative exploration.

Self Directed Project—The Living Room In 2124

Living Room 2124 is a speculative design project that reimagines the future of domestic life in an over-commercialised, ecologically degraded world. Set in the year 2124, the project envisions the living room as a micro-ecosystem—a space where technology, nature, and emotional wellbeing coexist through material innovation and interactive experiences.

As urbanisation and digital saturation increase, the home becomes the last personal sanctuary. This project explores how furniture can go beyond function, acting as responsive, ecological interfaces that restore a sense of connection between humans and their environment.

Self Directed Project—AR Poster—Nuclear Pollution

In this project, post-nuclear mutated sea creatures are shown as eerie performers. While maintaining the core narrative of environmental reflection and bio-mutational storytelling, the focus has shifted towards exploring the transformation of AR posters from static 2D graphics into immersive 3D experiences.

The project also reconsiders the spatial context in which these AR pieces are presented—moving away from traditional gallery settings to more unexpected or public environments, enhancing the tension between ecological fiction and reality. By reimagining the poster as an interactive, spatial object, this work challenges how audiences engage with environmental storytelling in digital and physical layers.

Passage—Life is Like A Box of Chocolates

Inspired by the iconic quote from Forrest Gump, “Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re gonna get”, this short animation transforms a sweet metaphor into a surreal social experience.

Through AI-assisted 3D visuals, expressive facial reactions, and absurd character behaviour, the film explores how unpredictable tastes—spicy, sour, bitter, and boozy—reflect emotional responses to life’s uncertain moments.

Presented as a hybrid installation combining digital video with real, edible chocolates, the project invites viewers not just to watch, but to participate—to choose, to taste, and to react.
