I am Zhao Wang, a graphic designer from China with a passion for exploring different design styles and forms. I am interested in editorial design, print and branding design. I believe in design as a medium for change, with my personal practice focusing on social issues and human behaviour.

CyberMoji Type

CyberMoji Type is an emoji-inspired 'text-shaped symbol', a one-heavy font designed for Internet slang. It is available in both print and digital versions.
It is designed to add to the graphic nature of the letters by abstracting them.
CyberMoji Type will be used to add interest to digital communication and to enhance the emotional function of Internet slang through its graphic nature, enhancing the digital communication experience.

CyberMoji Type Keyboard

#abashmentfree

#abashmentfree is a social media campaign based on Instagram. It is dedicated to eradicating the sexual shame that women themselves generate, thus eliminating stereotypes from society about women's sexual needs and performance.
The visual design uses bright and vibrant colours and bold collages. A specially created 'body impression' font is used to present the powerful tagline.

Café de Nata Rebrand

This is a rebranding project for Café de Nata, which specialises in Pastel de Nata and coffee.
I changed the brand colour to a bright and soft yellow to emphasise the identity of the dessert. By borrowing the repetitive form of Lisbon tile patterns for the brand packaging, the aim was to rejuvenate the brand culture and make it fun.
