Zhi Ling

The goal of this project is to help people understand how machines work. I believe that making things with interesting designs makes them worth understanding, so I have drawn some airplanes with unusual shapes.

Machines also have key components, so here, three videos will demonstrate how they operate in an abstract way.

The name of this project conveys a strong desire to engage in wasteful actions, yet hesitating to take that decisive step. I will use a hand to represent ‘desire’, and the object held in the hand will symbolise ‘waste’, to reflect this theme.
