Flower of Sleep

In this animation project, I used the dynamics of a flower to simulate and represent the human sleep process. The core idea of the project is to show the different stages of sleep through the opening and closing of flowers and the visualisation of the breathing sound frequencies in sync with them. This visually reflects the natural rhythm and depth of sleep.

BambooCycle: From Panda Waste to Plantable Tickets

In my project, I tried to solve the problem that a panda’s leftover bamboo is usually wasted. To solve this problem, I turned these discarded bamboos into plantable paper, and I used them instead of the traditional tickets at the zoo.

Specific seeds are used in these plantable papers. The seeds come from plants that help repel parasites that affect the panda’s health. In this way, whenever visitors use these tickets, they can also plant them, which not only reduces waste, but also may help improve the living environment of pandas.
